The Karachi Port handled 41,500 tonnes of cargo including 39,500 tonnes import and 2,000 tonnes export, during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 41,500 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Two ships namely Lalazar and Oriental Orchid sailed out to sea during the report period. Five vessels viz Warbah, Oriental Orchid, Environ Sun, Super Adventure and Eric G Gibson are currently at the berths. Four ships namely Super Adventure, Warbah, Eastern Sea and Bunga Delima expected to sail on Monday.

MMM Kingston due to arrive on Monday, while six ships namely Alia, Oriental Kerria, Thor Captain, Oranje, Apl Jeddah and Global Progress are due to arrive on Tuesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 97,887 tonnes comprising 73,526 tonnes import and 24,361 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 3,143 containers (TEUs), was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Monday.

The cargo comprised of 4,400 tonnes chemicals; 3,299 tonnes edible oil; 24,400 tonnes furnace oil; 12,357 tonnes iron ore and 53,431 tonnes containerised cargo.

Four ships namely Merker Beach, Golden Ocean, Express and White Cattley sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while three more ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Colombo, Unix Bright and Atlantic Eagle are expected to sail on Monday.

A total of three vessels viz E. Trader, Clipper Skagen and Great Ambition are currently at the outer anchorage.

Two ships namely Clipper Skagen and E. Trader due to take berths on Monday.

Two vessels viz MT Golden Dream and Chemstar Brave with edible oil and chemicals due to arrive on Monday, while another ship Oranje with containers is due to arrive on Tuesday.
